Request: I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from the NHS Business Services Authority. 1) Please provide (preferably in excel format) how much the NHS Business Services Authority has set aside in anticipation for the legal costs that may be incurred from the upcoming legal case titled ‘Pension Challenge’ in relation to staff pensions. 2) Please provide (in excel format) how much the NHS Business Services Authority has paid in legal costs over the last five years in legal cases that took place in the UK. 3) Please provide the top ten legal firms that have received claims from the NHS Business Services Authority. 4) Please provide a full list (preferably in excel format), of all claimant firms to have received money from the NHS Business Services Authority over the past 5 years. For all firms please state how much money they received in relation to claimant costs, how many claims this represents, the damages that were paid in these cases and how many claimants in total have received a pay-out from each law firm in relation to the legal cases. If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.
