Request: I know that a 12-month PPC in England costs 104 and saves you money if you get a lot of prescriptions per year. In the tax/financial years 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18, I would like to know how many people per year paid for more than 12 NHS prescription items separately. This is to know how many people would have saved if theyd got a 12 month PPC so I dont want the data to include people who were exempt from paying. For the tax/financial year 2018-19, the price of a prescription item went up to 8.80, so by my calculations, people who paid for more than 11 NHS prescription items separately could have saved by getting a 12 month PPC. So for 2018-19, Id like to know how many people paid for more than 11 NHS prescription items separately. Can I also ask to know for each year, how many items did the people who bought more than 12 items (or more than 11 last year) buy altogether?
