Request: Dear NHSBSA I would like to request some information under the FOI Act. Do you have data on the number of prescriptions and what proportion (%) of prescriptions in England are repeats, by BNF chapter, for most recent financial year available. And if possible split by age groups: Age 0-49; and age 50+. There is an example of how the data might look here: https://pcwww.liv.ac.uk/~brenc/Example prescribing data NHSBSA FOI Request.xlsx This is for a piece of research I am doing around the cost of ageing and disability using ELSA data. Thanks Best wishes [name and contact details redacted] [On 31 December 2018 you clarified the following:]Do you require Repeat Dispensing or Repeat Prescribing? Ideally both, repeat dispensing and/or repeat prescribing. Do you require items prescribed in England and dispensed in England or prescribed in England and dispensed anywhere? Ideally prescribed in England and dispensed anywhere but either is fine. Do you require hospital prescribing - dispensed in the community and dental prescribing - dispensed in the community? Or do you just need GP prescribing? Ideally all of this, hospital, GP and dental if possible. But if this is tricky then GP would be okay.
