Request: Along with the resolution of this delay, with payment made at the earliest possible date I wish to have answers to the following questions, consider it a freedom of information request Why has this delay occurred Why wasn t this avoidable I understand the delay has resulted from the NHS pensions service bringing payments of benefits in house from the previous third party management company Who is/was responsible for the overseeing of the changes responsible for the delay Why wasn t the delay foreseen and avoided or at least mitigated Poor management Inadequate project management A lack of oversight of the practices of the previous pension management company How will you compensate your members who are suffering as a result of all this I have had to phone your call line three separate times to obtain the very limited information I have and am still no further forward in getting a date for when this will be resolved. Despite on each occasion of my calling the call handler took my contact details I have had absolutely no response. This alone is unacceptable and worthy of investigation by an outside body. After 29 years working as a nurse in the NHS I was expecting a more organised, courteous dare I say professional and even caring management of my pension Why haven t you kept members fully informed and up to date Who is responsible for the resolution of this disgraceful debacle
