Request Reference: 7830 Request Date: 16 Jul 2018
Request: Can you please advise reference my complaint under the above2000 act, how many complaints you have received from NHS employees in the last twelve months broken down monthly and confirm reason for the complaint and if Capita manage the NHS pensions for NHS staff other than GPs. [On 31 July 2018 you clarified the following:] I am trying to ascertain the effectiveness of NHS Pensions administration of employees pensions, including my own. Therefore I request the total number of complaints, broken down by reason for the complaint. i.e. 1. Complaints regarding late processing of pensions 2. Complaints regarding lost submission of forms related to pension claims 3. Complaints regarding lack of information or communication from NHS Pensions Since my complaint I have received a lump payment into my bank, however the paperwork provided does not break down the months paid, it is a lump sum with tax deducted, why does it simply not state the months i.e. April 18 amount, tax, etc I have to assume it is three months and I will have to ring pensions to clarify this, why do pensions make payments clearer and transparent. Also I would like to know if Capita is managing NHS Pensions. I hope this clarifies the request [On 29 August 2018 you clarified the following:] Can you please under FOI advise over the past 5 years, a comparison against the data you have provided to enable a performance comparison since Capita took over the Management of pensions
