Request: To whom it may concern, I wish to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act for the following records which I believe to be held by the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA), the number of people receiving a prescription of antidepressants for the first time ever, on a national level, over the course of the financial years 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17 with a male/female breakdown in each of the following age brackets. o under 18s o 18- to 64-year-olds o 65+ the national-level number of individuals coming off antidepressants: ie who finished a course of antidepressants in financial years 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17 and who did not receive a new prescription for antidepressants in the six months that followed.
