Request: Dear Sir, Madam, I am registered with NHS Business Services Authority as a former MacFarlane Trust registrant. I have 2 general queries under Freedom of Information to which I am seeking answers. 1) If a haemophiliac has received either a lump sum ex-gratia payment or lump sum compensation pay-out direct from a local Health Authority /Trust in the UK in relation to infection with HIV and /or hepatitis C from contaminated blood, were/are they still eligible to receive the lump sum payments from the former Macfarlane Trust, Skipton Fund (now NHS Business Services Authority) and ongoing financial support and grants? IF SO 2) How many such cases were formerly registered with a) the Macfarlane Trust b) Skipton Fund? 3) How many such cases are now registered with NHS Business Services Authority?
